While I would tend to agree with your point (which seems to be that Francois sees evidence of "peaks" in what otherwise would be seen as perfectly normal crisis in market economies), I don't think that much is needed.

For me, "Fundamental Changes" is about apocalyptic stuff. Whether based on economic or ecological trends. So some of the tamer stuff (like the global credit crunch and ensuing crisis we have right now) doesn't really fit into it, IMHO. Which is why I tend to pepper my economic articles into "General and Current" or "Politics" a little bit at random, I'll admit...

Would be a useful additional subforum. Why not try the Google approach to new ideas: try it and see if it works. If not, roll any posts back into one of the others.
